Ishah Purpose is an association initiated by Pastor Astrid SONI that was originally intended for pastors' and leaders' wives, women in ministry, and women in leadership positions.
At its inception, it was a gathering of the wives of our Bible Institutes' graduates, but since 1999 it was open to other participants. Many pastors' wives and women ministers come to our monthly meetings.
Our first International Conference saw over 2,500 ladies in attendance in Kinshasa, DR Congo.
In July 2003, Pastor Astrid SONI held a Women Conference among African Immigrants, Asylums & Refugees in Manchester / UK with a couple of hundreds in attendance. In the past two decades, many more global conferences have followed; from Montreal (Canada), London (UK), Brussels (Belgium) to Orlando Florida (USA).

This ministry is an interdenominational service to women, young girls, and ministers' spouses. These ladies are put aside by God for specific services. They are in the ministry either because of personal calling like Miriam, Debora, Phoebe, or because they are married to ministers and working at the shadow of their husbands like Priscilla.
When we look at history, we see that the leaders' wives have a big influence on their husbands. So every woman who is called to be a wife of a minister has a special assignment for being on the side of a man of God. As his help meet she shares his intimacy, she is his life and ministry companion, and the facto she is his first advisor and collaborator.
Early on our activities primarily focused on enhancing the image of women serving God and the spouse of ministers, to sharpen their potential because of their role in the destiny of many churches, ministries, and lives. Our goal is to motivate women for self-esteem, maturity, and excellence.
As a gathering of first ladies, we meet:

-To give to each woman an appropriate place where she can learn about her duties and obligations.

-To provide an environment where these women can ask questions, can share their difficulties, and receive help.

-To have workshops & meetings in order to equip them with tools that can help them improve their ministry

Ishasa Purpose is devoted to equip and help ladies and young girls to achieve their dreams and visions. We deal with women of all works of life: female leaders, female ministers of the Gospel, women in politics, in business, in education, as well as stay home moms, etc. This ministry empowers them to live with excellence.
This ministry has members in different provinces of DR Congo, in Congo-Brazzaville, Nigeria, Angola, South Africa, Belgium, United Kingdom, USA, Canada, and France.
